ADVERTISING
MERCEDES
• The star was created by
Gottlieb Daimler.
Started to be used just
like that we know it now
in 1937 and it is said
that with it the capacity
of the engines of the
mark, which dominate
the earth, the sea and
the air, is meant.
CARREFOUR
•
The name of the very known
hypermarket
Carrefour
originates from the first site
that opened, in France. This
site was located in a cross of
ways, therefore the company
decided to put the "cross"
name "of ways", which is the
translation of the word
"carrefour".
In the logo two figures, one
blue and another red are
observed, and the hollow that
generate among them is a
capital letter C.
TOBLERONE
• There is a hidden
BEAR!
AMAZON
• You might think the arrow does nothing here. But it says
that amazon.com has
everything from a to z and it also represents the smile
brought to the customer's face. Wow, that is quite deep.
• I didn't write this, but got it through a friend in email and
though I should share.
IBM
• Paul Rand (who designed the iconic IBM logo in 1972)
designed this 'eye bee M' logo in 1981. I like that they are
quite relaxed about the logo, unlike certain other companies
who do not like the logo to be tampered with in any way even
for internal promotions
McDonald’s
• It’s the letter M in
gold.
COCA-COLA
NIKE
• The Nike SWOOSH logo represents the wing in the famous
statue of the Greek Goddess of victory, Nike, who was the
source of inspiration for many great and courageous
warriors. According to legends, a Greek would say, "When
we go to battle and win, we say it is Nike."
