Question: What is the order of the organs
for the digestive system?
By: Aaron & Nikki
Here’s the answer :D
• First, the food goes in the mouth and it gets broken down by salivary
enzymes.
• Then, it goes down the Esophagus which is a long tube and it pushes the
food down by muscle movements.
• After, it gets dropped into the Stomach and the food gets churned and
bathed in a very strong acid.
• More on next slide.
• Somewhat later, the Duodenum comes it’s a pouch that squirts
liquids in the food.
• After, the Small Intestine comes, it makes the food almost solid
waste.
• Almost done, the Large Intestine absorbs water from the food.
• Lastly, the food gets stored in the rectum until it gets excreted
via the anus.
Key Points to REMEMBER!
• Remember how the poop gets small and big like small intestine
to large intestine.
