Purpose

To get your message across to others clearly and
unambiguously
Involves effort from both the sender of the
message and the receiver
 Only successful when both the sender and the
receiver understand the same information as the
result of the communication


 The ability to understand the content of a
presentation or conversation, and the ability to follow
instructions, is the basis to success at any job

 The ability to use to common mathematical concepts,
as well as the ability to recognize if an answer for a
