VIII-The End of World War I
A) Numerical Superiority

has entered the war,
the Allies have two
million fresh troops.

several battles that
break the German
lines and force them
slowly back to the
French/German
border
• 3) Germany is quickly
losing the war and
decides to surrender
before the front line
moves into Germany
itself.

• A) Leniency-America
wanted Europe to take
it easy on Germany
after the war.
• 1) President Wilson
wanted to create a
“peace without end”
• 2) If peace was to last,
Germany had to be
accepted back into the
neighborhood

France wanted to
punish Germany for
the destruction and
death caused by the
war.

Germany is forced to

in the Reich!
