The Life of a Roman
• Plebeians housing lacks windows and running
water
• Food consists mainly of grains, vegetables and
watered-down wine
• Wedding traditions include a ring on the left
ring finger, “tying the knot”, bride wears
white, cake eating, nut tossing, and torch
throwing
