1. Visibility (Article II.7.1)
Unless the Agency/Commission requests or agrees otherwise, any communication or
publication related to the project, made by the beneficiaries jointly or individually, including at
conferences, seminars or in any information or promotional materials (such as brochures, leaflets, posters,
presentations, websites, noticeboards, etc.), shall indicate that the project has received funding from
the Union and shall display the LIFE Programme logo.
For audio-visual material, the credits at the beginning and/or at the end shall include an explicit
audible and readable mention to the LIFE financial support (e.g. “With the contribution of the
LIFE Programme of the European Union”).

2. Website (Article II.7.1)
A description of the project shall be included in a newly-created or existing website (with the
LIFE logo, and the Natura 2000 logo if relevant), and full details of its objectives, actions, progress
and results should be provided. The web site shall be put on line within 6 months after the
project start and regularly updated during the project period and shall be maintained online during at least 5 years after the project's end.

3. LIFE logo (Article II.7.1)
All durable goods acquired in the framework of the project shall bear the LIFE logo unless
otherwise specified by the Agency/Commission.
When displayed in association with another logo, the LIFE Programme logo must have
appropriate prominence.
For projects in Natura 2000 sites or contributing to the integrity of the Natura 2000 network, the
obligations regarding the LIFE Programme logo also apply for the Natura 2000 logo.
The LIFE logo may however not be referred to as a certified quality label or eco-label. Its use shall be
restricted to dissemination activities.
Costs incurred for the purchase of durable goods, including notice boards, and
for the production of communication material, including websites, can
only be eligible if they bear the LIFE logo (and the Natura 2000 logo, when
applicable)

4. Notice boards (Article II.7.1)
The beneficiaries shall erect and maintain notice boards describing the project
at the locations where it is implemented, at strategic places accessible and
visible to the public.
LIFE Nature projects notice boards shall carry LIFE and Nature 2000 logos

5. Networking with other projects
(LIFE and/or non-LIFE projects, ongoing or completed)
These activities shall aim at ensuring an efficient transfer of know-how and experience both
for the project's benefit and also in order to foster its replication in similar contexts.
Networking activities can include visits, meetings, exchange of information with other non-LIFE
projects and/or participation in information platforms related to the project objectives (including
at international level where justified).

6. Layman’s report
A layman’s report shall be produced in paper and electronic format at the end of the project. It shall
be presented in English and in the project's language. This report shall be 5 to 10 pages long and
present the project, its objectives, its actions and its results.
It is aimed at a broader target group and serves to inform decision- makers and a nontechnical audience on the objectives and the results
achieved by the project.
This report shall be submitted with the project's
Final Report and should be made available on the
project's website.

6. After-LIFE Plan
The coordinating beneficiary must produce an “After-LIFE Plan” as a separate chapter of the final report in
the beneficiary’s language and optionally in English, in paper and electronic format.
For all projects, the After-LIFE Plan shall set out how the dissemination and communication of the results
will continue after the end of the project (what actions, when, by whom, and what sources of finance).

Non obligatory dissemination activities
Media work (press conferences, meetings with or visits by journalists, preparing articles for the
press, etc.).
Organisation of events: e.g., public information meetings, meetings with interest groups, guided
visits, etc. (description of exactly what is planned, how it contributes to the objectives of the project
and what are the final outputs).
Workshops, seminars, conferences: whenever possible, LIFE beneficiaries implementing or having
implemented similar projects ought to be invited in order to foster networking.
For the two last activities, the topic, their contribution to the project’s objectives, the people invited, the outputs and their
dissemination should be described

Non obligatory dissemination activities
Production of brochures, films, visitor maps, etc.: decription of the subject matter,
number of copies, distribution to whom).
One copy of each product must be annexed to the progress / intermediate report or final
report.
Guidelines: for example on how to manage species or habitats, implement a
technique/method or tackle a specific biodiversity issue.
Such guidelines must always be produced if the project is a demonstration or pilot project.
Technical publications on your project: indication in which journal the publication
will or has taken place and acknowledgement of the EU financial support.
