Scholarships
• In the last 2 years, marketing students have received
a total of 20 scholarships solely based upon projects
that they have completed in their Marketing classes
and for their DECA involvement at SFHS
-Laurel Springs Advertising campaign scholarships
-E-Step Entrepreneurial Business Plan scholarships
-DECA Advisory Board Scholarships
-Marketing Internship Scholarships-$20,000
-The Art Institute Scholarship-$80,000
Marketing Co-op/Internship
• Juniors and Seniors explore career interests in the field
of marketing.
• Student job titles range from customer service
representatives, sales associates, and assistant
managers, to marketing assistants and more.
Marketing Assistant, K.C. Love, designs advertisements for
new products offered by River’s Edge Pharmaceuticals in
Suwanee. His employer awarded him a $20,000 scholarship.
Marketing Assistant, Steven Ozer, promotes new real estate
developments using special event marketing at Elite
Marketing Solutions
Marketing Internship student, Karlee Smith,
works with Vanity Fair fashion designer, Andi
Rice, to design intimate apparel for young
women and girls. Vanity Fair corporate
officials interviewed Karlee and guaranteed her
a position in design or marketing after she
graduates from college.
