Individual Series Event
Description
 The Quick Serve Restaurant Management Individual
Series Event consists of a 100-question, multiplechoice comprehensive exam and role-plays.
 The role-play portion of the event requires
participants to accomplish a task by translating what
they have learned into effective, efficient, and
spontaneous action.

Description
 The five performance indicators specify the distinct
tasks the participant must accomplish during the
role-play.
 Students have ten minutes to prepare their strategy
and ten minutes to explain it to the judge.
 The judge can ask questions during or after the
presentation.

Scenario
 You must also develop an advertising campaign that
shows how Burger Barn is helping to fight obesity by
giving customers more healthy choices.
 The advertising campaign must give young people
incentives for making healthy diet choices.
 Also, Burger Barn must become active in the
community to promote physical fitness.
 You must determine an event for Burger Barn to
sponsor that confirms its commitment.
