PHOTO STORY
What is Photo Story?

It’s more than a slideshow. It’s a video story.

You can create presentations with:
 Special
effects like panning and zooming
 Sound
 Narration
in your own voice
Create your digital story







Select the pictures that best illustrate your story
Import and arrange your photos and pictures
Edit, rotate, crop, auto-fix and add special effects
Add titles, captions or other text
Record your own voiceover
Customize motion and transitions
Save your movie, post it, play it or e-mail it.
Open Photo Story
Click “Begin a New Story”
Select your pictures

Click “Import and Arrange Your Pictures.”

Browse to your network folder, thumb drive or place you have stored your pictures
3.
Select several pictures by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking on each one

Type notes to yourself in the text box

Use the sound buttons to record, stop and remove the voice.
Adding Music
Select music from a source or create your own music. Be sure to follow copyright
laws.
Decide what type of music best fits with your story.

Select and preview the motions and transitions you want.

Click “Save”

When you get to the end of your project, click “Save your story”

Save the options you need for your presentation

Tips





Save early, save often!
Select the picture you want to modify before
adding effects.
Add music if your teacher allows it.
Use the arrow buttons to move from picture to
picture.
Use the “Back” and “Next” buttons to move to
different editing steps.
