difference in your ability to be a successful
student
• NO LOOSE PAPERS ANYWHERE
Step one:
• Divide all classes with your dividers
Step two:
• Use the hole puncher and secure all papers
in the right section of the binder
Or
• Include a spiral notebook or loose leaf paper
in each section of the binder
Step 4:
• File your notes from the oldest to the most
recent at the beginning of each divider
section.
Step 5:
• Keep all handouts and homework in
chronological order also, right behind your
notes.
Supplies
• Maintain at least two pens and two pencils
in a pouch in the binder
• Be self-sufficient and have everything you
need. (eraser, pencil sharpener, ruler, etc…)
• Keep plenty lined paper in your binder
Student agenda
• Place student agenda book behind the pencil
pouch in the binder
• Copy all daily classwork and homework
assignments in the agenda book by date
• Check off each assignment as you complete
it.
Neatness
• When your binder becomes overloaded,
keep current notes and handouts, and store
old notes, homework etc… in another
notebook or box at home.
Binder check
