In Spanish, there are 2 ways to say “you.”
Tú is informal and can be used with friends,
classmates, brothers & sisters, etc.
Ústed is formal and is used to show respect
while speaking. It would be used towards a boss,
teacher, or adult older than yourself.

Spanish pronouns will always be
arranged in the same format in
any Spanish class.
This pronoun format is
nicknamed The Skeleton
because it is the bones upon
which verbs are conjugated, and
will never change no matter
which verbs you use.

Vosotros
Vosotros means “you all” and is used only in
Spain.
It is italicized in many high school texts because
it is optional to teach it in high school. Some
teachers do and some don’t. So you may see
skeletons in which vosotros is removed.

Ustedes is commonly abbreviated as Uds.
