• The subject of the sentence tells who is doing the action.
• The subject can be a noun (the boy), a person’s name (Fred) or
a subject pronoun. (I, you, he, she, we, they)
• Subject pronouns replace nouns.
• If you have a group males & females, remember that GUYS
rule!! (use the MASCULINE form)
• The subject pronouns in Spanish are:

La conjugación de los verbos
•A WHOLE UNCONJUGATED verb is called an
INFINITIVE.
•ALL infinitives in Spanish end in “R”.

•ALL infinitives in English include the word “TO”
TO talk TO write TO eat
•When we want to use a verb in a sentence, we
must CONJUGATE it.
•To conjugate a verb in Spanish, you must DROP
the last 2 letters, then add the ending that
matches the subject.
•In English, you DROP the word “TO” & add
endings.
For example:
