pronoun?

what an –AR verb is!

- AR verbs
Verbs that end in –ar
Por Ejemplo:
Andar (to go), hablar (to talk),
Llegar (to arrive), contestar (to answer)
These verb forms are
called infinitives.
They
have
not
been
Infinitives= to go, to
conjugated. No subject
talk, etc.
has been identified.

how to conjugate
–AR verbs

To conjugate –ar verbs in the
present tense…
1. Start with an infinitive verb (for
example, “hablar”)
2. Take off the –ar
(now you are left
with “habl--”)
3. Then add the appropriate
ending according to the
subject. (see next slide for
endings)

depending on who is doing the action of the
verb):
