Verbs that end in ‘ar’
Examples:
Hablar, cantar, bailar,
tomar, llegar, estudiar,
caminar
Verbs have 2 parts
All verbs have:
STEM + ENDING = VERB

hablar = to talk
Verb conjugation (change)
1.
You conjugate verbs to make
them fit properly in a sentence.
Ex. Instead of saying
“I to talk to you,” we say “I talk to you.”

You change the verbs from the
original to the conjugated form.
“to talk”

to take off the ‘ar’ ending and replace
it with the general ending.
