To learn new computer skills
 To learn how to teach my students using
my new computer skills

WHAT I ACTUALLY
LEARNED
I learned how to create a web based
lesson
 I learned about how to use search
engines more efficiently
 I learned how to create a spreadsheet
and use the formula bars
 I learned how to create usable data
charts

SUCCESSES &
SHORTCOMINGS
Using my teaching method of hands on my
lesson was a great success. The students
learned a great deal about etiquette and
communication. The students also learned a
great deal about computer technology. My
students post test scores improved over their
pre test scores. The shortcomings of my
lesson was that the computers were not
always working when I needed them for my
students.

The data analysis was helpful in telling me if
my students knowledge on the subject
increased from the pre to the post test.

CONCLUSION





Overall this was an educational experience that has
given me the knowledge to create better lessons for
my class with clear objectives.
This experience has forced me to choose appropriate
activities that are not only fun but very educational for
the students, and helps them learn the subject.
This experience has allowed me to incorporate
technology by having the students use my website.
Using pre & post tests have helped me know what I
need to teach better.
I believe that I have personally and professionally
become a better teacher due to the knowledge that
the CTAP 295 has given me.
