TOBACCO
Since Jan. 1, 1966, all cigarette packages
sold in the United States have carried
health warnings. Cigarette advertising on
television was banned in the United States
beginning on Jan. 1, 1971, In 1985 the
American Medical Association called for a
ban on all cigarette advertising.
