An adventure to Dubai with Sarah

Oh My Seven Stars!
On my excursion I will
be relaxing at the Burj
Al Arab for a mere
$1559 per night!
Dubai Back In Time!
• Dubai used to be a small
fishing community owned
by the Maktoum family.
• Dubai is a major travel
destination of the world and
it only started developing
as one in 1985!
• Dubai is a mix of traditional
culture with modern culture
making it more desirable to
westerners than other
southwestern asian
countries.

My first stop (after
crashing at the hotel
of course) will be
seeing a movie at the
local Grand Cinecity.
This movie will be
starring natives of
course!
This is an example of modernization
because it shows that they are developing
enough technology to be able to shoot and
produce a film.
I Rule The World!
Foreign movies just get
me in the mood for
buying islands that
are in the formation of
our planet!
This is an example of modernization
because they had to use modern
equipment to build the islands from
scratch so I could buy them!

Buying islands sure
wears me out! I need
a drink (I’m 21 of
course!)
This is me and my friends at the bar (im
on the far left!) We were contributing to
the tertiary activities in Dubai by
drinking traditional alcohols and tipping
the bar tender! This shows
modernization because the bar is
Bright and Early!
Bright and early the
next morning I will be
going on an aerial
tour of Dubai so I can
see the city from the
sky!
This is an example of modernization
because Dubai has began using
helicopters to give tours in the sky
which is modern technology!
The Bride Show !
On my final day in
Dubai I will win the
Bride Show that is
held annually. No
matter what. This
shows modernization
because the bridal
weddings hosted at
the show are not only
traditional but modern
as well.
