They where slaughtered by Turkish archers.
50,000 soldiers of Kilij Arslan, Seljuk Sultan of Rum
attacked from the side.
The crusader’s army had 150,000 to 350,000 men.
The crusaders were forced back to their camps.
Duke Godfrey helped them defeat the Turkish army.
