these were a series of wars during the
Middle Ages between the Christians and
Muslims. We have mentioned them a
number of times. Please complete the
“Know” and “Want to Learn” sections of
your chart. You have 5 minutes.

Questions Game
We are going to play a short game. I am
going to read some statements about
the Crusades and you will need to
respond according to if you agree,
disagree, or are neutral. This is a
silent activity. When you hear the
statement, silently go in the area of
the room that BEST represents how
you feel. Those who can’t play silently
will not play.

The Crusades were always fought only between
the Christians and Muslims.
Going to heaven was a good reward for Christian
soldiers who died fighting in the Crusades.
It is good that Children were allowed to fight in the
Crusade.
It was bad that Children who left on their Crusade,
did not fight and were sold into slavery.
Europe learned a lot from the middle east after the
Crusades.
In the amount of time the Crusades were fought,
the world changed a lot.
Jews were not affected by the Crusades.
Video – Crusades
As you watch the video answer
the questions on your video

well, we will go over the
