Reminder: Why a service matrix?
• Many sources of information on NRENs’
services:
Background
• TERENA Compendium; potentially all NRENs
globally
• NRENs’ own websites: local language, not all
services displayed e.g. planned/developing
services
• Nordic NREN service matrix
• Create a single view of service portfolios
across GÉANT NRENs, to support:
Objective
Connect | communicate | Collaborate
• Sharing of knowledge and expertise
• Identification of trends and gaps
• Enabler for brokering of intra-NREN services(?)
