The key aim of the seminar series is to
bring together sociologists and
methodologists working in the area of
social statistics to bridge the gap between
recent technical developments in
longitudinal data analysis and substantive
sociological research.
This will be achieved through an
integrated programme of seminars and
workshops.

• Workshop 1 (Training Workshop) Introduction to Statistical
Methods – Statistical Modelling and Longitudinal Data Analysis.
• Seminar 1 Longitudinal Analysis - The Theoretical Paradigm .
• Seminar 2 Event History Analysis.
• Workshop 2 will comprise two activities. Event History Analysis
Workshop (2A); Correspondence Analysis Workshop (2B).
• Seminar 3 Multilevel Analysis.
• Workshop 3 Multilevel Modelling Workshop .
• Seminar 4 Advanced Issues in Longitudinal Analysis.
• Seminar 5 Plenary Session – Longitudinal Analysis: The Future.
