The history of black slavery
is the tragic memories in
human history.
About 500 years ago, the first
group of black slaves were
trafficked from Africa to the
America.
After a long-deathful travel,there were only one third
Black slaves could arrive America. Then,they were sold as
commodity in the slave market.
About 100,000,000 Africans were trafficked to America
and Europe in four centuries.
There had been 400,000 black slaves in North
America colony till 1770.
The economy of the South was based on agriculture,
especially cotton,and the South depended on slaves for
this.
In 1852,Harriet Beecher Stowe published her
famous noble "Uncle Tom's Cabin".The noble
strengthend the sense of abolitionist.

Fort Sumter,the civil war began.

Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

passion. Over 250,000
blacks joined the Union
army, and about a
quarter of them dead
in the war.
From 1-3 July 1863, the Union army won the Battle
of Gettysburg, over 51,000 soldiers dead or wounded
in the battle.The victory became the turning point of
civil war.

Four days later,Licoln was assassinated by a southern
spy. He losted his life for the liberation of the black
slaves.

Almost one and a half century has
passed, the shame of the slave trade and
the glory of the slave liberation have
become the past . But today ,we can still
remember and think deeply about this
page of human history.
