The Early Hebrews
Abraham and Moses lead the

2000 and 1500 BC a
new people appeared
in Southwest Asia.
They were called the
Hebrews. The early
Hebrews were simple
herders, but they
developed a culture
that became a major
influence on later
civilization.

cows, donkeys, camels and other animals.
Boils - Painful sores broke out on all the Egyptians.
Hail - Hail containing fire and ice smashed the crops.
Locusts - A huge cloud of locusts ate every plant.
Darkness - It was so dark that the Egyptians couldn't
move.
Death of the Firstborn - God killed the firstborn
