Aim and Do Now
Aim: What major physical features and advantages
enabled Early Egypt to become a great civilization?
Do Now: Your family farms in the Nile Valley. Each
year when the floodwaters spread rich soil on the land

have grown. Sometimes you go hunting near the river
and try to catch birds and fish in the tall grass.
Why do you like living in the Nile River Valley?
