Directions:
The class will divided into three groups.
Each groups will be assigned a set of 2-3 questions to
research and answer.
Each groups will also be given two primary source
readings from the document readers.
Each individual in the group must answer the research
questions and all the questions related to their
readings.
Each group will then be responsible for leading a class
discussion on the material in class on Thursday.
Class Discussion Format
Groups will present their questions and answers one by one.
After a question and answer is presented, then the group will take
questions from the rest of the class.
Each person in your group is responsible for explaining and addressing
any questions related to the question/topic in which you presented.
If the person presenting for the group cannot answer a question
from the class, someone else from the group can answer.
However, this will be a deduction of points for the individual
responsible for the topic.
If the group cannot answer a questions from the class, Mr. Nelson
will answer the question.
However, the whole group will lose points.
Throughout the entire class discussion, if Mr. Nelson thinks that a
questions is too difficult for the individual or group to answer, he will
answer the question and the group will not lose points.
