What is my responsibility as a student?
• Perform research using the Internet, encyclopedias,
textbooks
• Create:
– An individual PowerPoint presentation highlighting the
life of a significant person during the American
Revolution
– A group newsletter with at least 6 articles created on
MS Publisher
– Works Cited page
• BE CREATIVE! USE YOUR IMAGINATION!

Create a web site to
publish students’ work
Guide instruction
Be available for help at all
times
Create a CD of the web
site for each student
How will I be graded?
• I will use rubrics to grade your
final products.
• Each student will receive a
copy of the rubrics at the start
of the unit.
• We will discuss the rubrics in
class.
Can we earn extra credit?
• If time permits, you
can earn extra credit
by aiding in the
creation of our
website.
• Extra credit will be
given to those who
finish their work early
and decide to build a
page of the website.
