Recording site:
1. Layer 3 to 6 of somatosensory cortex(S1)
(glass micropipette)
2. L6 dorsal horn surface of lumbo-sacral spinal
segment (silver ball electrode)
• Stimulating site:
– Electrical: Sural(SU) and superficial
peroneus(SP)
– Mechanical: hindpaw
Result
• High positive correlation between
amplitude fluctuations of spontaneous
negative CDPs and fluctuations of the
cortical evoked potential
