Horoscope Nowadays
Similarly to other fortune-telling methods, horoscopes are
being disregarded by the modern science, and their critics
often notice that many horoscopes are using the cognitive
tendentiousness and on purpose vague expressions in order
to create the illusion of the effectiveness (Forer Effect).
In spite of this fact horoscopes are still very popularity.
The majority of horoscopes today is of
general character and concern
considerable groups of the population put
in order according to the date of birth
usually in connection with the sign of the
zodiac.
They are only a form of fun, usually created by
people who do not know anything about
astrology.
Calculations
Following data is needed to prepare a horoscope:

the date of the birth or event
an hour and minutes,
place of birth (longtitude and latitude).
The horoscope of people born on the
same day can differ radically, taking
into consideration position of
heavenly bodies denoting the zodiac
signs.

The horoscope versus religion
In the Christianity belief in the information taken from the horoscopes is
a sin, since only God knows events that are supposed to happen, and
guessing them by the human being requires intervention of the Holy
Spirit. However, the horoscope assumes that the fate of people is written
in heavenly bodies and from their observation it is possible to read some
information.
