WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Workshop Objectives
1. To sensitise policy makers on the benefits of the
CDM and generate their support for participating
in the CDM;
2. To raise awareness among concerned stakeholders
on the benefits of CDM projects;
3. To present and discuss draft workplan for 20032005 and propose a strategy for successful
implementation of the project
Workshop Approach
This two-day workshop will be held using
the the following methodologies:
• Advance distribution of handout
materials;
• Presentation;
• Panel discussion; and
• Group discussion.
Expected Outputs
• Better understanding about climate change,
human response, and benefits of CDM for the
country;
• Support from all relevant stakeholders for
country’s participation in the CDM;
• Improved project workplan for 2003-2005; and
• A consensus on a strategy for successful
implementation of the project.
