Posted on the website daily
Practice of the skills being taught in class
Homework is not “graded” and often not collected, but
it’s used to generate class discussion and demonstrate
understanding
• Must be in class on the due date so that the student can
effectively participate in discussion and activities
• Student will attend lunch study hall if work is not
complete

Missionary Discipleship
• Middle school experience beginning in 6th grade
• Students identify an authentic need, participate in
missionary discipleship, and reflect on the
experience
• 5 hours per trimester (6th, 7th, 8th), 5 hours in
summer between 6th/7th and 7th/8th
• Spring of 8th grade-culminating reflection project
• See information and rubric that went home or on
website
How Can You Help?
• Help your child budget time and set priorities
• “What is your homework in SS tonight?” rather
than “Did you do your homework?”
• Help your child if they ask for specific help, but
do not attempt to “reteach” a concept.
• Direct your child to ask the teacher for help with
concepts.
