Hot seat
On Sam Jones’ local radio show, the leader of the council is
being asked to explain the council’s decision. Local residents
are invited to phone in to contribute to the discussion.
Choose one member of the class to
be the DJ Sam Jones and another
person to be the councillor. In role,
question the councillor about the
decision. The DJ should take
charge of the phone-in.
