Drugs
A drug is a chemical substance
that affects the way the body
works.
Sportspeople may take drugs to
improve their performance. Some
drugs are allowed, some are not.
Illegal drug use in sport is known
as doping.
Generally, drugs are developed
for medical use.
All drugs are dangerous when
misused.
