Especially important if subject unconscious
• Symptoms = what the injured person can
tell you
Blisters
• A result of friction between skin and
another surface. A tear occurs and fluid
seeps into space beneath it. Mostly on
hands or feet
– Treatment: if skin unbroken, protect blister
with padding or cotton wool. Stop activity.
– Drain large blisters under medical supervision
– If skin broken, disinfect and cover in order to
protect
