list the diseases and their schedule for immunization
describe the general side effects, adverse reactions
and contraindications for each immunization
differentiate among the communicable childhood

Adverse reactions:
urticaria, convulsions, anaphylaxis
Immunizations- Side Effects
Polio
no side effects
Adverse effects- paralysis (very rare)
MMR
same as the side effects of DPT, in addition mild rash
and arthralgia- these may occur up to 10 days post
immunization
Adverse effects--encephalitis
Varivax
same as DPT but also may develop a maculopapular
rash
