Setting up your notebook

• Write your full name across the top.
• Write 5 things about yourself. (Examples:
favorite class, type of music you listen to,
how many brothers and sisters you have, etc.)
• Use 4 different colors of colored pencils
• Inside cover great place for behavior plan,
class rules, safety rules, ect.

Last 14 Pages
• Turn to the back of your notebook and count 14
pages from the back.
• Insert a post it note and label as warm-ups.
• This is where all your warm-ups will be. They are
written one after the other (do not start a new page
for each)
• On the first page write “Week One Warm-ups” in
the heading area (the large space on top of the
page)
• Write today’s date under the heading (8/17/11)
Numbering Pages
• Starting on the first page where you wrote 5 things
about yourself, number each side of a page in pencil.
• Pages will never be torn out – be careful.
• If you do not have enough time to finish numbering,
please finish for tomorrow.
• You should have about 140 pages numbered.
