CLASSROOM AGREEMENTS

AGREEMENTS CONT.

Students will keep all electronics turned off and
headphones are not allowed.

Students can only use electronics if you’ve
been given permission (no cell phones, tablets,
laptops, mp3/4 players).
BENEFITS OF THE AGREEMENTS
I will be happy and grateful.
 You will all be happier and better students.
 Outstanding behavior will receive parental
notice (a “nice” note home or email to parent).

CONSEQUENCES FOR NOT UPHOLDING THE
AGREEMENTS

1. Warning (Be cool, follow the rules.)

2. Your parents will be notified.

3. Multiple warnings = a write up.

4. Time will be wasted and our joy levels will diminish 


GRADES – CALCULATION OF SIX WEEKS AVERAGE:

Minimum of 6 daily grades and 3 major grades.

Daily are 30% of overall avg.
- warm-ups and quizzes

Major are 70% of overall avg.
- unit tests and one writing assignment
per six weeks
PROCEDURES

Warm-ups will be posted on the board and will
be worked on as soon as you arrive.

BEFORE the bell!: sharpen pencils, bathroom,
personal matters/errands, etc.
PROCEDURES

Bathroom use:
- Only in emergencies.
- Silently raise your hand with fingers
crossed
-You must leave your cell phone and
have a pass.

Turning in work: Each class has their own box.

Assignments: They are written on the board
with due dates and posted on the HAC web
page.
 Borrowing supplies: Pens, pencils, etc. require
your cell phone as collateral.
 Absence: Be responsible and take ownership.
Ask a fellow student for help.



MATERIALS NEEDED FOR CLASS

pencils, pens (black/blue and red)

College ruled notebook paper for warm-ups

Folder with 3 prongs and pockets

If you are unable to obtain supplies for any reason email me
at [email protected] to resolve the matter.

If you forget to bring a pen/pencil or paper, I have some at
the front of the class. Just leave your cell phone w/ me as
collateral.
