STORY ELEMENTS?
PLOT: what happens in a story
SETTING: where and when a story takes place
CHARACTERS: the people and animals in a story
Let’s look at the story elements in this picture.
PLOT: The dog is chasing the flying duck.
SETTING: This is during the day in a pond or lake.
CHARACTERS: The dog and the duck are the
characters.
