Passive Voice
• Present Simple → TO BE (present: am,is,are) + PAST PARTICIPLE
They use computers to work. → Computers are used to work (by them).
• Past Simple → TO BE (past: was,were) + PAST PARTICIPLE
They left the books on the table. → The books were left on the table (by them).
• Future → WILL + BE + PAST PARTICIPLE
He will explain it again. → It will be explained again (by him).
• Modal Verbs →
MODAL VERB (can, could, must, should,…) + BE + PAST PARTICIPLE
The police must catch the thief. → The thief must be caught (by the police).
