Brief summary of the article…
• Most of the people think that bats are the
most disgusting animal of the world.
• they have a great diversity and an
extraordinary behavior.
• We usually think of Dracula when we talk
about Bats.
• The Mayans associated the bats with
darkness
• In Greek mythology, bats were sacred
animals for Persephone, who was daughter of
Zeus and wife of Hades, sovereign of the
world of dead.
• In the Chinese mythology and for the
European gypsies, they represent good luck
and everlasting life.
• The origin and evolution of bats is uncertain
because they are not represented in fossils.
• Bats rest upside-down

species of bats in the world, divided in
eighteen families.
