Epimetheus’s brother.
 Is known as a titan.
 He is characterized as ingenious and
clever.
 Son of Laputus.
 Is a representatives of mankind.

Prometheus’s brother
 Also a titan
 Depicted as a foolish man who often
easily tricked into doing things.
 Son of Laputus.
 Also often described as the
representatives of man kind.


It is said in Greek mythology that
Prometheus is responsible for giving fire
to mankind. It is said that everyday he
would go to Zeus and steal his fire and
bring it to earth. When Zeus found out
about this he tied him to a rock and had
and eagle eat out his liver. Everyday he
would grow a new liver and the eagle
would eat it again.

Zeus having being angered by
Prometheus devised a plan to release
evil to the world. So he listed the help of
other gods on Olympus to create a
creature so enchanting the first women
was created ,Pandora, Epimetheus
being foolish fell in love with her and
spread her evil all over the world.
Epimethesus and his brother Prometheus
were given the task of populating the earth
with animals and men. The two brothers
were in charge of putting posotive traits in
all of the animals.
 Epimethesus quickly exhausted all their
resources being foolish.
 Zeus being angered by this creates
Pandora to become the wife of
Epimethesus and bring him much
misfortune.

Despite all of his brothers warnings he
married the women and she released a
plauge that covered the world.
 In other stories it is said that the
Prometheus molded all of man kind from
the image of his brother.

