This tournament is open to all High School teams,
and strictly limited to 14 Boys & 14 Girls teams
Format:
Qualifying Round: All teams will bowl 2 games and then 6 baker games. Baker games
will be cross lane. Once all games are completed the top 8 teams for Boys & top 8
teams for Girls will be seeded based on total pin fall for all games. In case of a tie, high
total pin fall game #1 will determine the higher seed. Subsequent ties will be
determined by game #2, #3, etc.
Championship Round: The format will be 2 baker games, total pin fall. Baker games will
be cross lane. Higher seed will start on the odd numbered lane. Awards will be
presented to the top 3 teams in each Boys & Girls.
Cost is $125 per Team
(Cost per school is $250, assuming the school sends 1 Boys team & 1 Girls team)

Registration is on first-come, first-served. Payment in full is required to reserve team
spot.
Bryan Burr Memorial High School Bowling Tournament
Rules:
1.
This Tournament is strictly limited to the first 14 Boys and 14 Girls teams that register and remit
payment in full.
2.
The 2016 - 2017 Texas High School Bowling Club Competition Rules will apply as applicable as well as
all USBC regulations.
3.
Dress attire must adhere to Rule 9 – Uniform & Dress Code of the Texas High School Bowling Club
Bylaws and Competition Rules. No blue jeans, sweat pants, spandex, skinny jeans or jeggings are
allowed.
4.
Teams should arrive 1 hour prior to the start of competition.
5.
Good sportsmanship is expected and will be enforced. Failure to show good sportsmanship by any
individual or team could result in disqualification .
6.
Score corrections are to be made by the Tournament Director or designated tournament staff.
By participating in the Bryan Burr Memorial High School Bowling Tournament you agree to the following:
1.
Your image may be captured in still or video format and may be used for media or historical accounting
of this event and/or for promotional purposes.
2.
You agree that participation is at your own risk and you waive any and all claims against Mel’s Lone Star
Lanes, its employees and/or representatives, the tournament director and/or any person associated with
this event.
