Problem Statement
The Primary purpose of the Short to Medium Range
Positional Device is to locate an automobile from a short
distance with a visual display.
The team will be implementing Radio Frequency (RF), RF
sensors, microcontrollers, and Remote Keyless Entry
System (RKE) to locate the automobile.
Background
Ever come out of a store and
were not able to find the car?
The Short to Medium Range
Positional Device (Car
Locator) will save time and
the embarrassment of losing
the car.
The Car Locator will assist
the owner in finding the car
quickly and with ease.

Objective
The objective of the car
locator is to design and
produce a reliable car
locating device.
The locator will
incorporate security for
loss or theft of the device.
