Knowing this, what do you think the Greek

3.2 Energy, Producers, and Consumers
Primary Producers
Organisms that can make (produce) their own
food- think plants
Plants, algae, and certain bacteria can capture
energy from sunlight or chemicals and convert it
into forms
Autotrophs
Sunlight is the ultimate energy source.
Photosynthesis
Process of converting light energy into chemical
energy
Chemical energy is the usable form of energy for
living organisms
Ultimate source of energy for almost all living
organisms
Plants, algae, and bacteria.
