“Too Young”
Logical Appeal
• This child diagnosed with cancer at a young age
wishes to have long hair, like the other kids.
Emotional Appeal
• This picture appeals to your emotion, because
if you had a child with cancer longing for hair
you would feel the pain your child does when
they look in the mirror.
Ethical Appeal
• If your family is stricken with cancer you can’t
help but question “why my child” or “why
me.” Your child might also think “why can’t I
have hair like the others.”
Focus of the image
• The focus of this picture is that the child
drawing hair on the mirror.
What is the background?
• In the picture everything is blurred besides
the little girl drawling hair on the mirror,
Focusing just on the little girl.
Emphasis
• The emphasis of the light shining on the little
girl is that there is hope that she will have hair.
