Discussion
◦ When would each of these types of presentations be
appropriate?
To create a continuous
running slide show in
PowerPoint:
◦ Click on the Slide Show
Tab.
◦ Next, click on the Set Up
Slide Show button.
◦ Under Show type, select
Browsed at Kiosk.
The Set up Show
dialogue box should
look like this.
◦ Make sure the loop
continuously box is
checked (default for
kiosk).
◦ Make sure using timings
is selected (default for
Kiosk.
Next, click on the
Animations tab.
At the far right end of
the ribbon, un-check “On
Mouse Click.”
Check the “Automatically
After” box and set the
number of seconds
between each slide. You
will have to do this for
each slide.
Now your presentation is
ready to run on it’s own
without any human
interaction.
Video and graphics can
be embedded, along with
your text.
It can run on a dual
screen monitor system
so the computer is not
dedicated to just the
presentation.
