Apple
 The first habit is to cut the apples
A star in the middle = good health during next year
A cross in the middle = worse health and problems during
next year
Fish-scales
 The second habit is to put fish scale under the plate.
The scale brings happiness and wealth next year
- Preparation for Christmas includes a lot
of activities in housework – cleaning of
the house , baking biscuits , buying
presents and decorating the Christmas
trees .
- One of main parts on Christmas Eve is
special Czech Christmas dinner for the
whole family (parents , children ,
eventually grandparents) before meeting
around the Christmas tree .
The national Czech Christmas
dinner is fried fish or
schnitzel, potatoe salad,
and fish soup.

Next symbol for Christmas is
Christmas tree.
This is typical Czech X-mas
tree.
After dinner Baby Jesus comes
and brings presents under the
Christmas tree .
Czech children don´t have Santa
Claus, we have Baby Jesus.


We usually spend this day at home, children
play with new toys, families watch fairy tales,
eat cookies and enjoy this time.
We visit grandparents and our friends,
give them presents and spend time with them.

Warm regards to all our partners.
