• REACTION TIME- THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT PASSES FROM THE INSTANT WHEN YOUR BRAIN

• THEIR BRAINS ARE STILL GROWING (UNTIL INTO THEIR TWENTIES)
• EMOTIONAL RESPONSES ARE CHANGING. (MAY PRODUCE CONFLICTING,
UNEXPECTED, OR EVEN UNCONTROLLABLE EMOTIONS)
• NO ONE ENJOYS BEING AROUND SOMEONE WHO IS VOMITING, VIOLENT OR
OUT OF CONTROL.

• YOUNG PEOPLE CAN SHOW IMPAIRED MEMORY AND DO POORLY IN SCHOOL.
• LONG-TERM ABUSE CAN INCREASE RISK OF STROKE, HEART DISEASE, CANCER, AND LIVER
DISEASES.
