Dual Diagnosis Patients
Enhanced Treatment Program
HONOR THE CHALLENGE - EMBRACE THE
JOURNEY - LEAD THE WAY
Reducing Recidivism &
Improving Quality

Provide on-going treatment & monitoring to patients aged 18 and older
who have a diagnosis of opioid dependence and who may also suffer
mental illness. This program will serve individuals who are seeking
recovery from all illicit drug use and require more structure in
programming from the onset of replacement opiate therapy. Clients who
are unsuccessful in abstinence based treatment settings, and do not
responds well to TX institutions who are not methadone friendly and/or
have had bad experiences in those settings.
One stop shop that will reduce treatment cost such as
additional transportation, and CD assessments.
 Structured to fit the needs of clients that need assistance
with other drugs and mental health issues.

client/counselor relationship

Program Redesign & PDSAs
Alliance Clinic as a result of this project took a look at the
programming we now have and made changes to our
clinic……...



We extended the initial orientation by adding a new
comers group that expands over 6 weeks and made it
mandatory for all new admits.
We expanded our relapse prevention groups to be
offered 3 times per week with 3 different counselors at various
times throughout the day for better attendance.
We developed a Hmong Cultural Specific Group;
one group for men and another for women due to differences
within their society.
We felt that the programs offered as designed were not
meeting the needs of our population and our clients
