BACKGROUND

World Bank funded project commencing July 2013.
•
Spatial Dimensions (now Trimble) owned Flexicadastre application was tailored to
capture the Mining Act 1992 processes Launched in mid-2014 by Minister for
Mining.
•
On-going support and training by Spatial Dimensions.

Provide a central system storing the complete set of information
pertaining to the administration of mineral tenements (internal)
Provide a public mineral tenement web portal (external)
Improve the management and administration of mineral
tenements and the distribution of data via a web portal thereby
increasing transparency and attracting investors

Option for tenement holders to manage obligations directly is available (e.g.report
submissions and rental payments)
Improved transparency of mineral tenement applications
Collaboration with other government agencies is improved (e.g. OCCD/JICA, landuse
mapping project).
