PROGRAM
An enterprise application approach to the State’s web presence
and online service offerings through the development of a new
state web portal. The wv.gov partnership has enhanced or
created 26 applications under this initiative since 7/07 and 21
additional services under development. The site has received the
2008 Best of the Web State Portal Special Award and 2008
Digital Education Achievement Community Award.

Allows agencies to update web sites quickly and easily
to provide citizens with vital information and allows
the re-use of technology for other web sites. Has
increased usage of wv.gov by 24% over previous year
with 242,745 unique visitors per month.
